Fourholes

FOURHOLES is an independent label that was conceived in an empty swimming pool during an epic southerly swell. The model is late 1970’s ‘leisuremaster’ but the culture is current millennium.

FOURHOLES has evolved out of a grassroots passion for surfing and skating; it’s about participating at the most fundamental and soulful level; it’s about dropping into local barrels and riding suburban streets and supermarket car parks.

FOURHOLES is also about having to buy your own board and not having one presented to you by a corporate sponsor; it’s about having to pay for your own airfare to some exotic and isolated Indonesian or Pacific island; it’s about seeing footage of yourself not on a big screen but on a small screen, shot by a mate on your last trip down the coast.

FOURHOLES is for everyone who remembers the halcyon days of hanging out with your mates, the endless summers, the road trips…If surfing and skateboarding ever have a son, its name will be FOURHOLES.
